- R2 inc x 6 [12]
- R3 (sc, inc) x 6 [18]

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Lightly stuff the petal to form a tulip shape. Fold the tulip in half, then insert the needle into both middle parts and sew them together. Fold the opposite side, insert the needle into both middle parts, and sew them together.
