Body of the Shorts:

  1. Half Double Crochet Rows:
    • With the main color for the shorts, start with half double crochet around the waistband.
    • Continue working in rounds.
  2. Increasing for Hips:
    • When you reach the hips, increase by placing two half double crochets in the first and last stitch of the row.
    • Do this for about 6 rows or as needed for your shape.
  3. Leg Holes:
    • Once you have reached the length before the crotch:
      • On the next row, when you reach the front middle, chain 10 to bridge the gap for the leg holes.
