What skill level is required for the crochet bee keychain pattern?

Suitable for beginners with basic crochet knowledge. Instructions are clear, making it easy to follow.

Materials:

  • The yarn in black, yellow, white, pink colours (You can choose the desired colour and brand of yarn; in this case, the product size may change. I used Kartopu Baby Natural Cotton as yellow yarn and Alize Cotton Gold as black and white).
  • 2.20 mm wool spindle
  • Scissors
  • Ethamine needle; for sewing
  • Bead fibre; for stuffing
  • Wool felt and needle
  • Stitch determinant
  • 6 mm locking eye

Terms Used:

  • mr = magic ring
  • sc = single crochet
  • inc = increase nasal
  • dec = decrease
  • hdc = half double crochet
  • dc= double crochet
  • trc = triple crochet
  • dtr= double treble
  • sl st = slipped stitch
  • (...)* = repetition of the operation in parentheses as many times as the number next to it
  • ch = chain

Step By Step Pattern

Head:

With yellow colour yarn;

  • 1. mr 6 sc
  • 2. 6 inc 12 sc (Double tight needle in each loop)
  • 3. (1 sc,1 inc )*6 = 18 sc
  • 4. (2 sc,1 inc)*6 = 24 sc
  • 5. 24 sc
  • 6. (3 sc,1 inc)*6 = 30 sc
  • 7. (4 sc,1 inc)*6 = 36 sc
  • 8th-13th rows will be knitted flat as 36 sc.

The eyes will be attached by leaving 3 sc between rows 12-13.

  • 14. (4 sc,1 dec )*6 = 30 sc c,1 dec )*6 = 24 sc (we can start filling the
  • 15. (3 sc · fibre.)
  • 16. (2 sc,1 dec )*6 = 18 sc
  • 17. (1 sc,1 dec )*6 = 12 sc

Legs:

Knit two

With yellow colour with yarn;

  • 1. mr 6 sc
  • 2.6 in ve masal = 12 sc (Double tight needle in each loop)
  • 3rd- 6th 12 sc (total 4 rows)

Arms:

With yellow colour yarn;

  • 1 . mr 6 sc
  • 2nd 6th 6 sc ( total 6 rows)

It will be worked as two. Fill, fold in half, join with braid.

Antenna:

  • 1. We pull 6 chains and turn
  • 2. 5 hdc on ch

Body:

We continue with the yellow yarn.

  • 7. We connect both legs with 24 sc
  • 8. 24 sc
  • 9.24 sc with black rope
  • 10. 24 sc with yellow rope
  • 11. 24 sc with black rope
  • 12. 5 sc,1 dec,10 sc,1 dec,1 dec ,5 sc =22 sc with yellow yarn (We will make one decrease on each side)
  • 13. (2 sc,1 dec )*5,2 sc =17 sc (start fibre filling)
  • 14. (1 sc,1 dec )*5,2 sc =12 sc
  • 15. 12 sc

Gather the loops and close them.

Cheeks:

With pink coloured

  • 1. mr 6 sc

We combine maarn sl st.

Wings:

  • With white coloured yarn,
  • 1. 16 ch
  • 2. 5 dtr, trc, 4 dc,
  • 3 hdc 3. 3 hdc, 4 dc, trc, 5 dtr
  • 4. 5 dtr, trc, 4 dc, 3 hdc

After the full round we will continue with sl st for the wing veins.
