Materials:

  • yarn in the colors grey, white, blues, orange, yellow, green, pink, and purple
  • 10mm safety eyes
  • safety nose
  • 4mm, 4.5mm, and 5mm hooks
  • sewing needle
  • scissors
  • stuffing

Abbreviations:

  • MR: magic ring
  • sc: single crochet
  • inc: increase
  • dec: decrease
  • Flo: front loop only
  • blo: back loop only
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • ch: chain
  • f/o: fasten off

Cereal Bowl:

f/o with a long tail for sewing and the safety eyes between rounds 5-6, about 4 stitches apart add the safety nose between rounds 6-7

f/o first tail fin and make another. DO NOT F/O SECOND TAIL FIN. Continue crocheting off of the second tail fin.

  • R6: sc into the first tail fin and put stitch marker into that stitch. 5 sc, sc into second fin, 5 sc (12)
  • R7: 2 sc, dec, 4 sc, dec, 2 sc (10)
  • R8: 2 sc, dec, 3 sc, dec, sc. (8)

f/o with a long tail for sewing

Fruit loops:

Furet loops

  • use a 4mm hook and make 2 in each color (12): light green, orange, yellow, turquoise, dark purple, and hot pink
  • Leaving a long tail, ch 7, sl st into the first ch

Assembly:

  • Stuff the seal head and sew it onto the milk between rounds 3-7
  • Stuff the tail and sew it on the opposite side of the head onto round 9 of the milk
  • Sew the fruit loops onto the milk by pulling both tails of a fruit loop through the milk.
  • Then take one of the tails and pull it through the other side of the fruit loop. Sew the tail back down into the milk and tie the two tails together. Repeat until all fruit loops are sewn on.

Assembly continued pt. 2:

  • Sew the milk onto the back loops of round 18 of the bowl and stuff as you go
  • Sew the paws onto the milk between the head and the bowl
