Materials And Tools:

  • Sport yarn (50g/160m):
  • Yellow (YarnArt Jeans 67)
  • Pink (YarnArt Jeans 20 or 36)
  • Nude (YarnArt Jeans 05 or 73)
  • White (YarnArt Jeans 62)
  • Crochet hook 2.00 mm
  • Stuffing (Polyester fiber fill) - optional

Notes

  • If you use these materials, the finished toy is around 11-12 cm (4.5") tall
  • There are no crochet instructions included in the pattern.
  • It's assumed that you're familiar with the basic crochet stitches.
  • The difficulty level of the pattern is easy.
  • I use US terminology in this pattern.

Step By Step pattern

Arms:

Start crocheting with the nude color.

  • 1. 5 sc into a magic ring (5)
  • 2. 5 inc (10)
  • 3. 10 sc

Change the yarn to pink color.

  • 4-8. 10 sc (5 rounds)

Make a sl st, fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. You can stuff only the lower part of the arms. Sew the arms to the sides of the body in round 15.

Body:

Crochet with the pink yarn.

  • 1. 8 sc into a magic ring (8)
  • 2. 8 inc (16)
  • 3. (sc, inc)*8 (24)
  • 4. (2 sc, inc)*8 (32)
  • 5. (3 sc, inc)*8 (40)
  • 6. Back loops only: 40 sc
  • 7. (7 sc, inc)*5 (45)
  • 8-15. 45 sc (8 rounds)

Now we will make a finishing round:16. (sc, turn your work around)*45 (45) (Or you can make simple 45 sc)

Make a sl st, fasten off and cut the yarn. Hide it inside the body or leave a tail for sewing.

Now attach the pink yarn to the front loops that are left in round 6. Crochet 40 sc with the body turned upside down. Make a sl st, fasten off and hide the yarn inside. You can fill the body with fiber fill or leave it empty to use it as a holder.

Beard:

  • Wrap the white yarn around your fingers many times.
  • Tie a knot around the yarn on one of the sides and cut the yarn on the opposite side.
  • You can leave it like that and trim it to the desired length and shape. Or you can use a very thin comb (I use animal brush) and separate the yarn to its threads.
  • Sew the beard to the body in round 15.

Note:

  • Crochet with the nude yarn.
  • 1. 6 sc into a magic ring (6)
  • 2. 6 inc (12)
  • 3. (2 sc, dec)*3 (9)

Make a sl st, fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Stuff lightly if you want.
Sew the nose over the beard in rounds 13-15.

Hat:

Crochet with the yellow yarn.

  • 1. 6 sc into a magic ring (6)
  • 2. 6 sc
  • 3. (sc, inc)*3 (9)
  • 4. 9 sc
  • 5. (2 sc, inc)*3 (12)
  • 6. 12 sc
  • 7. (3 sc, inc)*3 (15)
  • 8. 15 sc
  • 9. (4 sc, inc)*3 (18)
  • 10. 18 sc
  • 11. (5 sc, inc)*3 (21)
  • 12. (6 sc, inc)*3 (24)
  • 13. (7 sc, inc)*3 (27)
  • 14. (8 sc, inc)*3 (30)
  • 15. (9 sc, inc)*3 (33)
  • 16. (10 sc, inc)*3 (36)
  • 17. (5 sc, inc)*6 (42)
  • 18. (6 sc, inc)*6 (48)
  • 19-20. 48 sc (2 rounds)
  • 21. (2 sc, inc)*16 (64)
  • 22-23. 64 sc (2 rounds)

Make a sl st, fasten off and cut the yarn. Hide it inside.
If you want, you can fill the hat with fiberfill and sew it to the body in the loops of round 20.

Flowers:

  • Make as many flowers as you want.

Little flowers:

  • Make a magic ring and crochet in it: (chain 2, dc, chain 2, sl st)*5
  • Tighten the magic ring, fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Big flowers:

Start crocheting with the yellow yarn.

  • 1. 6 sc into a magic ring

Change the yarn to main color.

  • 2. (Chain 2, crochet in the next stitch: 2 dc, chain 2, sl st)*6

Fasten off and cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew the flowers to the hat.
