Material:

  • Chenille Home Slim white
  • Sweet Snuggles Lite baby green
  • 4.5mm hook
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
  • Stitch marker
  • Filling
  • 2 safety eyes 14mm

Abbreviations:

  • Mr - magic ring
  • Sc - single crochet
  • Inc - increase
  • Dec - decrease
  • [...] - worked in the same
  • main stitch
  • Sl st - slip stitch
  • BLO-back loop only
  • (...) - repeat
  • FLO-front loop only

Step By Step Pattern

Everything between [ ] is worked in the same stitch, make sure you do it completely before going to the next one!

Body

  • R1-chain 6 (6)
  • R2-inc, 3sc, inc, continue working on the other side of the chain, inc, 3sc, inc (14)
  • R3 inc, 5sc, 2inc, 5sc, inc (18)
  • R4 sc, inc, 6sc, inc, sc, inc, 6sc, inc (22)
  • R5-6sc, [FLO sl st, chain2, sc in second from loop, sl st in first stitch], 9sc, [FLO sl st, chain2, sc, sl st in first stitch], 5sc

Change to white

  • R6 - (sc, dec) x7, sc (15)
  • R7-7dec, sc (8)

Add eyes between row 4 and 5, 2 visible stitches apart. Stuff, sl st, fasten off and weave in tail.

Dorsal fin:

Insert your hook on the top of the shark in row 1. The fin is worked in 2 stitches.

[Chain 3, dc], [sc, sl st]

Tail:

  • Insert your hook at the back of the shark in row 7. The tail is worked in 2 stitches. Do the tail with one eye of the shark facing you if you want the tail to be vertical.
  • [chain4, dc, sc, sl st,] x2
  • Fasten off and weave in tail.
