  1. Tube Yarn (2.5mm thickness) - This type of yarn is suitable for making a sturdy crochet flower bag.
  2. Crochet Hook (3.5mm) - Ideal for creating firm and detailed stitches.

Important Notes:

  • The flower bag starts with a magic loop technique.
  • Be cautious when working with increments to ensure the shape stays circular and doesn't warp.
  • The back loop is only used in Round 7, giving the flower bag texture.
  • Pay close attention to the chain stitch counts in the flower design to maintain the pattern.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Creating the Base

  • Round 1 (R1):
    • Start with a magic loop.
    • Chain 2, then make 12 double crochets (dc) into the loop.
    • Pull the loop tight and slip stitch into the first stitch to complete the round.
  • Round 2 (R2):
    • Chain 2.
    • Make 2 double crochets in each stitch around (24 dc).
    • Slip stitch to join.
  • Round 3 (R3):
    • Chain 2.
    • Alternate between 1 dc and 1 dc increase (dc-inc) around. This creates 36 dc.
    • Slip stitch to join.

  • Round 4 (R4):
    • Chain 2.
    • Pattern: 1 dc, 1 dc-inc, 1 dc — repeat around to create 48 dc.
    • Slip stitch to join.
  • Round 5 (R5):
    • Chain 2.
    • Pattern: 3 dc, then 1 dc-inc — repeat around to create 60 dc.
    • Slip stitch.
  • Round 6 (R6):
    • Chain 2.
    • Pattern: 4 dc, 1 dc-inc — repeat around to create 72 dc.
    • Slip stitch to join.
  • Round 7 (R7): Back Loop Only
    • Make 1 double crochet in every back loop stitch for a total of 72 dc.
    • Slip stitch to join.

Creating the Flower Pattern

  1. Round 8:
    • Chain 2, then:
      • Pull the loop and make 3 loops in the second chain from the hook.
      • Skip 1 stitch, then make 3 loops in the next stitch.
      • Skip 2 stitches, then make 3 loops in the next stitch.
      • In the same stitch, make 1 loop, chain 1, and pull through all loops on the hook.

  2. Create the remaining flower rows by following these repeat patterns:

  1. Add texture at the flower edges:
